After a slow month and a half, I have finally gotten back to my writing gig at the Fashion Spot.

It's been amazing working with the Fashion Spot! I have wanted to be a writer since I was 12, and it's so awesome to have my dream of being a writer/photographer in NYC happen.

New York fashion Week starts tomorrow, and I'm so excited! Between the shows at the tents in Bryant park (their last year there), the shows downtown at Milk Studios, and whatever might be happening in the streets, I can't wait.

Also- I just published by first story on The Fashion Spot. I interviewed Argentinian design duo Candela NYC and shot a few photos in their showroom. You can see that here: Candela NYC

In September 2009 I started a monthly online zine called theMAGAZINE(ok)|. You can see all the issues at www.themagazineok.com.

In November 2009 I relocated from Chicago to New York. Yes!!! I became an intern at www.modacycle.com, photoediting and writing stories about designers like Yohji Yamamoto, Badgely Mischka, Peter Som, and newcomers Timo Weiland. By December I was promoted to Lifestyle Editor.

The new year bought a new (paid) position at www.fashionspot.com as a contributing writer. I look forward to the publication of my first piece, about blogger/photographer Anouck Bertin (photos by Garance Dore), as well as shooting a style story about New York Fashion Week.

One of my images was chosen to be featured on fashionaire, a uk based style/fashion site in London. It features Lyric Lincoln wearing a design by Odd Positions clothing, makeup by Kerre Berry. I am now a:
